Arrived in Nice early on Friday morning, from Geneva, to bright sunshine. A quick taxi journey brought us to Gare Nice Ville where we enjoyed a quick visit to Paul patisserie. Fresh croissant and orange juice, just the thing for a train journey.
Passing Eze, Bealieu and Ville Franche we were soon in Monaco and following a short walk we were sitting enjoying a coffee in Place du Casino surrounded by the new bubble type structures temporarily providing luxury shopping facilities. This is where we met our first protagonist from Czarina, the shop of a thousand marvels.
Following a pleasant meeting with the most charming of ladies we were soon close to our destination on Avenue Princess Grace. Once at the Amber Lounge destination we were suitably catered for by the lovely young ladies who represent this happy organisation.
Excited by our environment and hungry for sustenance we met up the enigmatic artist that is Paul Oz, sharing a light lunch before venturing onto the Red Bull Energy Station in Port Hercule. This was an extremely pleasant way to spend an afternoon meeting racing heroes and making new friends such as Mr ETC.
Thank you to all those people who treated us so kindly on the day.
Breaking our journey to Monaco in Geneva was the perfect plan although as we arrived on national cup final day we were met by armour plated police officers strategically placed about the city.
The break in our journey allowed us to acquire images and video of Esprit de Vitesse and RB-No5 razors on Lake Geneva and fortunately it was a more than pleasant day with brilliant sunshine generously supplied by the Swiss government throughout.
See our new blogs and social media to enjoy the beautiful images we were able to acquire in such fabulous sun light.
Complete and ready for its journey via Geneva to the Amber Lounge at the Monaco Grand Prix, the razor partner to the mirror of Esprit de Vitesse. Applying the brakes will never have quite the same meaning.
